A journey through the history of Bevagna to learn all about the town\u2019s iconic main square, Piazza Silvestri, where our historical heritage, from the ancient Romans to the Renaissance, comes to life in some of its key monuments. The tour will end with the creation of a 3D rendition of our square.<\/p>\n

STORIES TO UNCOVER<\/h5>\n

A tour to discover the archaeological collection of the Civic Museum in Palazzo Lepri.
\nAfter the tour, students will take part in a simulated excavation, but in reverse, during which they will experience a sense of discovery combined with rigorous archaeological research and painstaking investigative work. In the second part of the tour, students will learn how to fill out a real \u2018scheda RA\u2019 (Archaeological Findings report).<\/p>\n

MOSAICS OF HISTORY<\/h5>\n

A tour of the building that houses the Roman baths, where students will get the chance to marvel at the magnificent mosaic floors of the \u2018frigidarium\u2019 (cold bath chamber), inspired by the marine world. Students will later tackle the task of creating a drawing embellished with colourful tesserae while learning more about the artistic and technical characteristics of mosaics.<\/p>\n
